Jack Rowe, who was the commercial financial manager, has been been promoted to sales director of Funding Bay. Rowe has over a decade of sales experience and has been with the business for more than two years.
“I’m delighted to take on this new role during a strong period of growth for Funding Bay,” Rowe said. “The demand from businesses seeking alternative funding solutions has never been greater, and I’m pleased to be supporting the company’s mission to connect entrepreneurs with the capital they need to thrive.”
Firm surpasses £400m in funding raised through network of 250 lenders
The move comes as demand for SME loans continues to rise, with Funding Bay reporting over 250 per cent year-on-year growth in enquiries during the first half of 2025. Founded in 2017, Funding Bay and its sister agency FBX Capital have supported businesses in raising more than £400 million through a network of 250 lenders.
Alex Fenton, partner at Funding Bay/FBX Capital, added: “We’re thrilled to be expanding our team with Jack’s appointment as sales director. The reality is that businesses looking for loans can no longer rely solely on traditional banks. Jack’s expertise and proven track record make him perfectly positioned to help even more businesses access the funding they need through our extensive network of alternative lenders.”
