George Holloway

George began his career inside Barclays’ invoice finance division, where he spent nearly four years managing relationships with businesses holding live invoice finance facilities. Working within one of the UK’s largest banking operations gave him a direct understanding of how major lenders assess risk, structure facilities, and manage client portfolios — knowledge he now applies from the broker side to anticipate lender requirements and position deals effectively.

He subsequently moved into fintech lending as a Business Development Executive at Satago, gaining first-hand exposure to the lending decision process before joining Funding Bay where he specialises in identifying and securing the most appropriate invoice finance structures for his clients’ circumstances. His experience spans both the lender and broker sides of the industry, as well as UK and international businesses — including cross-border transactions involving non-UK blue-chip debtors with extended payment terms.

Having spent his entire career in invoice finance, George brings a depth of product-specific knowledge that generalist brokers cannot replicate. He holds the ABFA Certificate in Invoice Finance & Asset Based Lending with Distinction — the industry’s recognised professional qualification — alongside a NOCN Level 2 Financial Services qualification gained during his time at Barclays.
